Building Information Modelling (BIM) Coordinator – Life Science Division Wood is recruiting a BIM Coordinator based in Milan (Corsico office) for the Life Science division, working on pharmaceutical and biotech projects across Europe and internationally. The role offers hybrid work (up to two days per week from home). The Role The BIM Coordinator will assist Wood with engineering projects, facilitating the implementation and management of digital processes. You will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure effective use of technology throughout the project lifecycle, requiring a deep understanding of BIM methodologies and best practices, proficiency in relevant software, and strong communication skills to coordinate multidisciplinary efforts. Define requirements to align digital and data solutions with client needs. Provide support and guidance on BIM & digital requirements. Develop and support data improvement and migration plans. Produce BIM Execution Plans, TIDP, and MIDP responses. Apply principles of 1 D–6 D to project delivery. Produce BIM‐compliant models using point cloud data (Scan to BIM). Manage Information Exchange protocols and deliverables (IFC, DEXPI, NWD, RVT, etc.). Utilise Common Data Environments (CDEs). Define scopes for new or improved systems, tools, and workflows.
