Overview

As a Security Consultant at Kyndryl, you help safeguard clients’ confidential data and critical systems by assessing, advising, and implementing security measures. You work closely with customers to understand security needs, assess posture, and provide practical risk management guidance. You design and deploy security controls and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate state‑of‑the‑art technologies. You stay ahead of evolving threats and contribute to secure‑by‑design IT infrastructure and partnerships. Responsibilities

- Assess client security posture and identify gaps
- Provide expert guidance on risk management, security policies, and best practices
- Design and implement security controls, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deploy technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, access controls, encryption)
- Conduct security assessments and audits to support management decisions
- Produce findings and recommendations to influence security actions




- Stay current with threats, technologies, and best practices to enhance client security
- Contribute to secure‑by‑design reviews of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications
- Engage with customers and vendors on assessments, audits, and due diligence activities

Qualifications

- 5+ years in information security consulting and implementation
- Experience managing risks related to processing, storing, or transmitting informationExperience with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, RMF, Common Criteria)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing threats and technologies
- Strong customer‑focused mindset and collaboration skills
