In the role of Assistant Financial Controller at Belmond Sicily, you will play a crucial part within the Finance department, supporting the Financial Controller in the management and oversight of Grand Hotel Timeo and Villa Sant'Andrea financial operations. If you are an experienced finance professional looking to be part of a dynamic luxury environment, this is your moment.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssisting the Financial Controller in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsSupporting budget management and forecasting activities, analyzing variances, and providing recommendationsOverseeing and ensuring the accuracy of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processesCollaborating on general ledger management, ensuring the correct recording of financial transactionsParticipating in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including account reconciliations and balance sheet analysisAssisting in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard hotel assetsPreparing financial analyses and providing support to various departments for strategic decision-makingEnsuring compliance with company financial policies,
