ph3Global Security Manager /h3 pPosted to: Genoa, Italy /p h3Mission /h3 pIn this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing comprehensive security strategies and programs to protect the organization’s personnel, assets and information. You will act as a proactive leader, identifying potential security threats and mitigating risks across a multinational environment. You will plan, establish and monitor security policies, guidelines, procedures and protocols for the whole organization. You will implement security operations worldwide—at the office, while travelling and at client premises—and provide support to ensure that security is properly managed, making every working environment safe according to RINA’s Risk Management approach. You will collaborate with C‑level stakeholders and coordinate other security professionals in the operating companies on a daily basis and during crisis situations. You will also supervise security services and support the management of security risks and issues in every scenario. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 ul libSecurity Strategy Development: /b ul liDevelop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures. /li liConduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities. /li liDesign and oversee security programs to address identified risks. /li liBenchmark the best tools available to manage risks on security platforms. /li /ul /li libOperational Security Management: /b ul liManage daily security operations, including travel security, physical security, access control, surveillance, and incident response. /li liCoordinate security activities with both regional offices and security professionals in the operative companies to ensure consistency in security measures. /li liMonitor security systems and investigate security breaches or incidents. /li liObtain the most valid and flexible insurance covering business travellers dealing with brokers. /li /ul /li libCrisis Management and Response: /b ul liDevelop and maintain crisis management plans, including emergency response procedures. /li liCo‑lead incident response efforts during security breaches or crises. /li liConduct post‑incident analysis and suggest corrective actions. /li /ul /li libCompliance and Regulatory Requirements: /b ul liEnsure compliance with local, national, and international security regulations and standards. /li liPrepare and submit required security reports to regulatory bodies. /li liConduct regular audits to ensure adherence to compliance standards.



/li /ul /li libTeam Leadership and Development: /b ul liRecruit, train, and supervise security personnel. /li liDevelop and implement training programs to enhance skills and knowledge among all RINA personnel worldwide. /li liConduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members. /li liConduct due diligence on security providers worldwide. /li /ul /li libStakeholder Collaboration: /b ul liLiaise with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and industry peers to stay informed on best practices and emerging threats. /li liCollaborate with other departments (IT, HR, Facility, etc.) to ensure integrated security measures. /li liCommunicate security status and issues to C‑level stakeholders. /li /ul /li libBudget and Resource Management: /b ul liDevelop and manage the security department budget. /li liAllocate resources efficiently to ensure maximum security coverage and effectiveness. /li liEvaluate and procure security equipment and technology as needed. /li /ul /li libContinuous Improvement: /b ul liStay abreast of latest security technologies and industry trends. /li liImplement innovative solutions to enhance security measures. /li liConduct regular reviews and updates of security policies and procedures. /li liCreate reports for senior management on security status. /li /ul /li /ul h3Education /h3 pBachelor’s Degree in Law or Political Science /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMinimum of 5 years of experience in security roles, including at least 3 years in a global or regional leadership position. /li liAdvanced degree in Security Management or a related field preferred; relevant professional certifications such as UNI 10459 Level 2 or 3, APP, CPP, or ISMI Level 6 will be considered an asset. /li liProven experience in developing and implementing security strategies, policies and procedures. /li liExperience managing international teams within multinational organizations. /li liStrong knowledge of ISO 31000. /li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in written and spoken Italian and English.

The gross annual salary range foreseen is between b€55,000 /b and b€65,000 /b and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies, and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
