We are currently looking a Engineering and Maintenance Manager to join our team in Milan. **Key Responsibilities**:
Maintenance Management: - Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs for all engineering systems.
- Schedule and supervise preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services as needed. Facility Management: - Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety and building codes. Team Leadership: - Lead and motivate the engineering and maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and support as necessary.
- Delegate tasks effectively and foster a collaborative work environment to achieve departmental goals. Budgeting and Cost Control: - Develop annual maintenance budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety standards. Project Management: - Plan and execute capital improvement projects, renovations, and upgrades to enhance facility infrastructure and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate project timelines, budgets,



and resources in collaboration with other departments and stakeholders. Compliance and Safety: - Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards related to engineering and maintenance operations.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to minimize workplace hazards and promote a safe working environment. Reporting and Documentation: - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventories, and service contracts.
- Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators, maintenance metrics, and project status updates for management review. **Qualifications**: - Proven experience in engineering and maintenance management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team
- Proficiency in budgeting, project management, and facility maintenance software.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices in facility management and safety.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
