As a Junior Payments Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing and processing financial transactions while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to maintain smooth payment operations and support the company's financial goals. In this role you will be responsible for: - Payment Processing: Execute manual and automated supplier payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Reconciliation: Assist with month-end reconciliations as part of SOX compliance process
- Cashflow Management: Support cash forecasting efforts to ensure liquidity for ongoing operations
- Bank Relations: Address banking issues and liaise with the Group Treasury team to facilities effective solutions
- Compliance and Obligations: Ensure the accurate and timely payment of statutory obligations, including taxes, pensions and other regulatory requirements
- Audits and Reporting:



Assist the AP Supervisor during audits and prepper reports on payment activates.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to enhancing payment workflows and ensure adherence to best practice in financial operations **Requirements**:
Technical Skills
- Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- Between 1 to 2 years of experience in payment processing, treasury or accounts payable roles
- Knowledge of compliance regulations, including SOX and local statutory obligations is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office and Excel
- Excellent communication skills in English and Italian
- Knowledge of Netsuite will be considered an asset Behavioural Skills
