You'll lead the technical definition from concept to execution and collaborate with sales, centers, and partners to drive innovation. The position is global, hybrid, and travel‐heavy, offering a hands‐on opportunity to influence next‐generation automation and AI‐enabled operations.
Retribuzione / Benefits Develop scalable, standardized automation solutions for data centers by translating customer requirements into robust system architectures and application concepts
Partner with Sales, Key Account teams, Global Solution Centers, and ecosystem partners to shape opportunities, develop technical proposals, and act as ABB's technical expert in customer discussions
Lead the technical definition of integrated automation solutions combining robotics, automation, IT/OT infrastructure, and partner technologies




Support the transition from presales to execution by providing technical guidance during key project phases
Capture customer and field feedback to enhance standardized solution architectures and contribute to next‐generation automation concepts for data centers
Responsabilità Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Automation, Robotics, or a related technical field
5–10 years of experience in application engineering, systems engineering, solution architecture, or a similar customer‐facing technical role
Experience with industrial automation, robotics, system integration, or data center infrastructure
Proven experience supporting presales activities, technical consulting, or bid management
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Fluency in English and willingness to travel globally up to 50%
