We are driven by the following values**: respect, determination, legacy, engagement and sustainability.** Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government. **Position**:
We are looking for** NPC Accreditation Specialist.** Under the supervision of the Accreditation Coordinator the Accreditation Specialist for National Paralympic Committees (NPCs) will serve as the primary contact for NPCs in relation to all accreditation matters for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Paralympic Games. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing the accreditation process for your assigned NPC group,
ensuring excellent customer service and data processing.
- Coordinating assistance for all accreditation-related inquiries and providing guidance to NPCs throughout the accreditation process.
- Ensuring optimal service levels and timely delivery of accreditation documents and badges.
- Participating in engagement events leading up to the Games to support NPCs in preparation for the event.
- Managing the Accreditation Help Desk during the Games, providing on-site assistance at the Athletes’ Village.
- Contributing to the development of accreditation publications for NPCs.
- Supporting NPCs with data entry, ensuring accuracy and completeness of their information.
- Acting as a liaison for NPCs at the Olympic and Paralympic Villages.
- Reporting to the Accreditation Coordinator on the progress and status of NPC accreditation. **Requirements**: - A higher education degree (Bachelor's, Master’s, or equivalent) or relevant experience in event management or related fields.
- Experience in handling sensitive data and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- English (full professional proficiency), proficiency in Italian and/or French is an advantage, additional languages are a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with accreditation management systems and databases is highly desirable.
- Comfortable using digital communication tools and platforms for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Proven accreditation experience, ideally gained at least at one other global multi-sport event, with a focus on the complexities and nuances of managing large-scale accreditation processes.
- Knowledge of Paralympic sports and classification systems, and familiarity with the operational needs of the Paralympic movement is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-layered projects independently, taking full ownership of operations and procedures, ensuring seamless coordination and successful outcomes.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong working relationships with other departments, ensuring smooth cross-functional collaboration throughout the event.
- Analytical skills with the ability to approach complex issues logically and coherently, developing actionable recommendations and implementing solutions.
- Experience operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and competing deadlines with efficiency.
- Strong ability to manage a high workload, prioritizing effectively and utilizing resources for optimal results.
- Highly numerate, detail-conscious, and well-organized, with excellent IT skills for managing large amounts of data.
