JOB TITLE: SAP HCM NPO Payroll Specialist TYPE OF CONTRACT: WAE Contract (level III) UNIT/DIVISION: TECD DUTY STATION (City, Country): Italy, Rome (remote working possible) DURATION: 11 months (90 working days) BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
The Digital Solutions Delivery Branch (TECD) is seeking to fill the position of a Specialist for Human Capital Management (HCM) and non-for-profit Payroll (NPO) projects with knowledge, expertise and experience in SAP Human Resource for Non-Profit Organization (PA, OM, TM, PY) focusing primarily on the integration between SAP HR and Workday/HCM. ACCOUNTABILITIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the Chief, TECD, and under the guidance of the Project Manager of the HCM project, the Specialist will be a key team member in the HCM project and in all the ongoing and up-coming other HR initiatives. He/she will be responsible for liaising with Stakeholders to discuss, collect and document requirements and implement IT solutions which meet their needs and achieve the highest quality in terms of technical usability, user acceptability, and domain suitability. The incumbent will support the TEC Project Manager during the initiation, design, development and testing phases of all HR projects as part of the project team. He/she will act as HR area focal point and will work together with the other Project Stream Leaders. Specifically, he/she will be accountable for the following key duties: - Collaborate in the definition, implementation and testing of the integration between Workday and SAP HR; and support the cut-over, the go-live and post go-live phases of the HCM Workday project.
- Follow-up with the vendor maintenance team for HR,
Payroll (including accounting and PBC - Position Budgeting and Control), interfaces (pension fund) and ASHI Retiree’s After Service Health insurance calculation.
- Provide support to the other non-SAP related Payroll systems used in WFP, including PASport and UNDP Quantum, as needed.
- Manage the integration between IT systems solution for HR area in collaboration with HR and Business Teams
- Provide integration troubleshooting and direct problem-solving efforts to resolve technical issues and questions raised by the technical and functional teams of the project.
- Coordinate with the BA team of the other areas in reviewing impact and integration on Payroll, Finance, Budget, Travel processes, etc.
- Provide support in determining costs and time frame estimations.
- Other duties as required. DELIVERABLES AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT: Business requirements documented.
- Integration document for both functional and technical requirements are completed and well documented.
- Regression testing documentation fully updated and signed off by both Business and TEC teams.
- Status update and senior advice to the HCM Project Manager and TEC Senior Management as required QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Education: - University Degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business administration or another related technical field or equivalent professional experience Experience: - Minimum 10 years progressively responsible professional experience as HR Business Analyst within an International Organization and proven record of accomplishment in development and implementation of SAP HCM NPO solution.
