ph3Job Description Summary /h3pTo strengthen our Engineering Grid Onshore Team we are looking for a Grid Manager based in Italy willing to join a dynamic and fast‑growing environment! The role covers the entire project development from concept design through to construction, installation commissioning of assets. /ph3Main responsibilities /h3ulliManage the grid connection processes and applications from initial assessment to final agreement, including engagement with key stakeholders and early identification of potential risks and issues. /liliAnalyse potential connection options, associated costs, potential impacts on the programme and associated risks, providing technical inputs to risk registers. /liliWork closely with regional teams within the Nadara Group including project managers, project engineers and business development managers to develop and manage project design for multiple projects. /liliMonitor onshore transmission regulatory regimes and developments to address the challenges and opportunities for projects in Italy (and potentially other countries). /liliParticipate in consultations and forums with government, regulators, TSOs and other stakeholders related to the development of onshore renewable energy. /liliDefinition of the electrical layout of the project (feasibility/basic design/executive design), with main focus on HV and MV systems. /liliChoice of the main equipment of the electrical project (cables, power transformers, substation layout, etc.). /liliProvide technical support to Procurement Dept. during Request for Proposals for electrical station and main electrical equipment.
/liliPreparation of Nadara technical specifications to fulfill standardisation purposes. /liliDiscussion with equipment manufacturers to verify products and compatibility with the project. /li /ulh3Required skills experience /h3ulliBachelor or master’s in electrical engineering or related discipline. /liliAt least 5‑6 years of experience in a similar role. /liliIn‑depth knowledge of the Italian energy industry, including a clear understanding of key concepts, regulation and stakeholders. /liliKnowledge and experience of the connection application process for E‑Distribuzione and TERNA, including web portals, Executive Engineering and regional differences from the TSO/DSO. /liliExcellent communication skills (internal and external stakeholders and partners, technical and non‑technical). /liliFull clean driving licence. /liliFluent in Italian and English. /liliKnowledge of MS Office. /li /ulh3Desirable skills experience /h3ulliManagement of consultants and contractors. /liliUnderstanding and experience of environmental and sustainability aspects. /liliKnowledge of other technologies (e.g. hydrogen). /liliAdditional language skills. /li /ulh3What we expect from you /h3pWe expect passion, commitment, and a strong desire to learn in every activity you’re tasked with.
