**APPLICATION CLOSING DATE: May 22nd, 2025** The Human Technopole Foundation (HT) is an interdisciplinary research institute, created and supported by the Italian government, whose aim is to develop innovative strategies to promote human health and healthy aging through a multidisciplinary and integrated approach, combining genomics, computational biology, structural biology, neuroscience and health data science. HT scientists work together to enable interdisciplinary research and to create an open, collaborative environment to help promote life science research nationally and internationally. In line with its mission to serve the research community at large, HT operates National Facilities, specifically aimed at making HT’s technologies, methods and tools available to the national scientific community. As part of its mission, HT actively engages with all relevant scientific stakeholders, fostering interactions and actively collaborating with the external scientific community, including academic, clinical and industry partners. HT is looking for a **Scientific Partnerships and Collaborations Coordinator for a maternity cover.** Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Scientific Affairs and working closely with the Scientific Relations Officer, the Scientific Partnerships and Collaborations Coordinator will contribute to the management of relations and coordinate the conclusion of scientific agreements with a wide variety of partners, including national and international Universities, research centers, hospitals and companies active in the field of life science research. **Main tasks and responsibilities**: - Research scientific activities and initiatives potentially relevant to HT, based on the needs of HT researchers
- Liaise and maintain relations with relevant scientific stakeholders and institutions,



including through the organisation of meetings with third parties
- Identify and propose new opportunities for scientific collaborations and partnerships to HT’s Scientific Leadership
- Support HT scientists in developing and drafting scientific plans and other documents related to initiatives in collaboration with third parties
- Identify the most appropriate form of agreement to support joint scientific initiatives between HT and external partners and collaborators, in coordination with the Legal Office
- Draft, review and negotiate MoUs, Research Collaboration Agreements, contracts and other documents related to scientific partnerships and collaborations, in coordination with the Legal Office
- Coordinate contributions from other parts of HT to the drafting and negotiation phases of scientific agreements and related documents
- Support HT scientists in the development and preparation of documents for collaborative projects requiring ethical clearance, in coordination with the Ethics Advisor
- Keep track of deadlines and deliverables related to agreements and contracts and their implementation
- Monitor the progress of scientific collaborations to ensure alignment with agreed scientific objectives **Mandatory requirements**: - Master’s degree in life sciences, management or other relevant field




- At least five years of previous professional experience in science management and/or research administration in an international setting, ideally in partnership management, scientific collaboration, or related roles
- Ability to grasp complex scientific concepts and to communicate them effectively to different audiences
- Good understanding of research administration and proven experience in liaising with administrative departments of academic institutions
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Italian **Preferential requirements**: - PhD degree **Organisational and social skills**: - Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of varying teams
