Overall Job Purpose
We are seeking a strong and enthusiastic Group Sales Coordinator based in Rome to join our growing team.

Candidate Profile
Education and Experience:
Minimum one year of experience in a similar role at a comparable property with sizeable rooms and meeting spaces.
Either a background in hospitality sales or a clear interest in developing a career within hotel sales and marketing. Responsibilities are primarily administrative but provide exposure to reactive and proactive sales, market segment understanding (MICE, corporate, leisure), data analysis, qualifying leads, and supporting show rounds and sales events.
Preferred
Demonstrated ability to work on behalf of guests.




Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
Principal Accountabilities
Provide coordination, full administration, and operational assistance to the sales team.
Conduct sales research and collect data to prepare reports and documents.
Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities to maximise revenue.
Serve as the first point of contact for all sales-related enquiries and liaise with other hotel departments, maintaining the sales databases.
Assist in qualifying leads, sending out sales proposals, and converting enquiries while working closely with the sales team.
Support preparation and follow‐up of sales trips, client events, and workshops.
Proactively seek new sales opportunities and cross‐sell whenever possible.
Conduct client site inspections of the property.
Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure distribution of important information.
