pstrongAbout the Role /strong /ppWe are seeking an experienced EHS Lead to oversee all Environmental, Health Safety activities on a major data centre construction project in Milan, Italy. The successful candidate will lead the implementation of best-in-class safety standards, drive a positive safety culture, and ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation and project requirements. /ppbr / /ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /pulliLead the delivery of the project's Environmental, Health Safety programme. /liliEnsure compliance with all relevant EHS legislation, company procedures, and project requirements. /liliReview and approve risk assessments, method statements, permits to work, and safe systems of work. /liliPromote and maintain a proactive safety culture across all project teams. /liliLead and mentor the site EHS team where applicable. /liliConduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety interventions, ensuring corrective actions are completed. /liliDeliver safety briefings, inductions, and awareness initiatives to personnel.



/liliManage hazardous substances, environmental controls, and associated reporting. /liliInvestigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventative actions. /liliMaintain accurate EHS documentation and provide regular reports to senior management. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongRequirements /strong /pulliRelevant qualification in Environmental, Health Safety. /liliProven experience leading EHS on large-scale construction projects (data centre experience highly desirable). /liliPrevious experience managing and developing an EHS team. /liliStrong knowledge of EHS legislation, standards, and best practices. /liliExcellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. /liliProficient in Microsoft Office Suite. /liliAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment with a proactive, solution-focused approach. /li /ul
