The simplicity of the process as well as the use of readily available off-the-shelf equipments opens the way for Energy Dome to quickly become an important player in the energy storage market. /ppbr / /ppAs we expand our international footprint, we are strengthening our project execution capabilities and are looking for an experienced strongProject Director /strong to lead full-scope EPC projects from development through commissioning and handover. /ppbr / /ppstrongRole Overview /strong /ppbr / /pulliLocation: Milan based with frequent travels, globally /liliReports to: Chief Operating Officer /li /ulpbr / /ppThe Project Director will be fully accountable for the end-to-end delivery of complex utility-scale energy projects executed under EPC or multi-contract structures. /ppThis role requires a senior professional with a strong EPC background who has successfully led projects from permitting and detailed engineering through construction, commissioning, and final handover. /ppThe Project Director will lead cross-functional teams and manage all key subcontractors across engineering disciplines, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met. /ppThis role is critical in projects where Energy Dome is not only supervising site activities but directly responsible for full EPC execution. /ppbr / /ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /ppstrongProject Leadership Accountability /strong /pulliAssume full PL responsibility for assigned projects. /liliLead projects from permitting and pre-construction through commissioning and handover. /liliEnsure alignment between development, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases. /liliAct as the primary escalation point for all project-related matters. /li /ulpstrongEngineering Technical Oversight /strong /pulliCoordinate and supervise all engineering disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, process, control systems). /liliEnsure technical coherence between design, procurement, and construction. /liliOversee design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering initiatives. /liliEnsure constructability and commissioning readiness are embedded from early project phases.



/li /ulpstrongConstruction Site Management /strong /pulliOversee on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with HSE standards and regulatory requirements. /liliSupervise EPC contractors and key subcontractors. /liliMonitor progress, manage change orders, and resolve critical site issues. /liliEnsure site execution aligns with contractual milestones. /li /ulpstrongCommissioning Handover /strong /pulliLead commissioning strategy and execution. /liliEnsure proper testing, validation, and performance verification of systems. /liliManage final documentation and client handover. /liliEnsure contractual performance guarantees are achieved. /li /ulpstrongContract Stakeholder Management /strong /pulliManage EPC contracts and major subcontract agreements. /liliLead negotiations, claims management, and variation orders. /liliInterface with clients, authorities, lenders, and strategic partners. /liliMaintain strong relationships with local and international stakeholders. /li /ulpstrongRisk Financial Management /strong /pulliMonitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost control. /liliProactively manage risks and mitigation plans. /liliEnsure compliance with corporate governance and reporting requirements. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongRequired Experience Background /strong /pulliMinimum 10 years of experience in EPC project delivery within the energy, power generation, industrial plants, or large infrastructure sectors. /liliProven track record of leading full lifecycle projects (permitting → engineering → procurement → construction → commissioning → handover). /liliStrong experience in construction management of complex industrial plants. /liliDirect experience managing multidisciplinary engineering subcontractors. /liliSolid background in commissioning and plant startup activities. /liliDemonstrated experience managing large-scale contractors and site teams. /liliStrong understanding of contractual frameworks (EPC, EPCm, multi-lot structures). /liliExperience operating in international and multicultural environments.
