As a Field Quality Investigator, often known as our "Quality Flying Doctor," you will be the primary detective for our most challenging strongfield quality issues /strong.
You will be on the strongfront lines, traveling to the source of problems /strongto conduct deep-dive strongtechnical analyses /strong. /ppbr/pp
Your work will be crucial in bridging the gap between strongcustomer-reported issues /strongand strongengineering solutions /strong, directly impacting product quality, customer satisfaction, and warranty costs. /ppbr/pp
You don't just report problems; you own the initial investigation and provide the critical data needed to drive resolution. /ppbr/ppbr/ppstrongKEY RESPONSIBILITIES /strong /ppbr/pullistrong
Travel to dealerships, repair shops, and customer locations /strong to perform hands-on inspections of vehicles exhibiting quality concerns. /lili
Conduct strongdetailed interviews with customers, service technicians, and field service engineers to gather first-hand accounts of the issue. /strong /lili
Perform comprehensive strongdata collection, i /strongncluding reading and recording all relevant DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes), live data streams, and vehicle logs. /lili
Execute strongissue reappearance tests /strongto confirm the problem and understand the specific conditions under which it occurs. /lili
Build a robust strongpre-analysis /strongfor each field quality case, compiling all evidence (photos, videos, data logs, measurements) into a concise and actionable report. /lili
Based on your findings, perform initial triage to determine the most likely strongroot cause category /strong: Design Flaw, Manufacturing/Process Issue, or Component Quality Failure. /lili
Create detailed strongtechnical summaries /strongthat serve as the foundation for deeper investigation by specialized engineering teams (e.g., Powertrain, EE, Chassis). /lili
Identify, stronglog, and track new and emerging field issues /strongwithin our quality management systems. /lili
Build and maintain strong
Pareto analyses /strongby "bucketizing" similar problems, calculating their frequency and gravity (severity, cost, safety impact). /lili
Manage and report on strongkey Field Quality KPIs /strong, such as Early Warranty Return Rate, Top Issue Rate, 3Mis /lili
Monitor strongissue trends /strongover time to gauge the effectiveness of corrective actions. /lili
Prepare and present strongweekly and monthly synthesis reports /strongon the status of all major investigations. /lili
Clearly strongcommunicate /strongcomplex technical issues to cross-functional teams, including management, engineering, and suppliers. /lili

Bachelor's degree in strong
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering /strong, or a related field. /lili
Minimum of strong5 years of experience in automotive quality /strong, field service engineering, diagnostics, or a similar technical investigative role. /lili
Deep understanding of strongautomotive systems /strong(e.g., powertrain, infotainment, ADAS, body electronics) and diagnostic methodologies. /lili
Proven experience with strongdiagnostic tools /strong(e.g., ODIS, CANalyzer, Vector tools, DEKRA, etc.) and interpreting DTCs and data parameters. /lili
Exceptional stronganalytical and problem-solving skills /strong, with a data-driven and meticulous approach. /lilistrong
Willingness and ability to travel /strongdomestically and internationally strongup to 60% of the time /strong, often at short notice. /lili
Excellent strongwritten and verbal communication skills /strong, with the ability to create clear, concise, and professional reports. /lili
Experience working directly with customers in a technical or service capacity. /lili
Proficiency in strongdata analysis and visualization tools /strong (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Excel). /lili
Knowledge of strongquality core tools /strong(e.g., 8D, FMEA, 5-Why, Fishbone Diagram). /lili
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is appreciated. /lili
Fluency in strong

Salary range /strong: from 40.000 € to 44.000 €, that will be defined depending on the level of adherence of the candidate to the job requirements /lilistrong
