ELECTRICAL ENGINEER – MILAN (OIL & GAS) Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to work on high-impact, large-scale energy projects? We're partnering with a leading global engineering consultancy delivering major projects across the oil & gas sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to bring on board a skilled Electrical Engineer to support complex projects in Milan.
What You'll Be Doing Reviewing and approving electrical power distribution designs (LV, MV, HV)
Working with single-line diagrams, load lists, cable schedules, and layouts
Supporting equipment selection (transformers, switchgear, UPS, MCCs, motors)
Carrying out system studies (load flow, short circuit, arc flash, protection coordination)
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, and construction
Supporting installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Participating in FAT & SAT activities




Assisting with maintenance strategies and root cause analysis
What We're Looking For Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
5+ years' experience within oil & gas or similar industrial environments
Strong knowledge of electrical systems design and industry standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE, etc.)
Experience with tools such as ETAP, SKM, or DigSILENT
Understanding of hazardous area classifications (ATEX)
Strong communication and coordination skills
Authorized to work in Milan, Italy
