Lead Manufacturing Engineer at GE Vernova

Job Description Summary

Leads engineering teams to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, propose budgets for production, implement new technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Team Leadership: manage manufacturing engineers and technicians.
- Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement, Lean/Operational Excellence, and implement new manufacturing technologies.
- New Product Introduction (NPI): Collaborate with design/operations to ensure manufacturability and smooth production ramp-up.
- Production equipment: Manage equipment selection, installation, upgrades, tooling design, and capital investment budgets.
- Documentation & Standards: Establish/approve process specifications, work instructions, material specifications, and ensure compliance (Safety, Quality, Regulatory).
- Material data accuracy: driving initiatives & Implementing a continuous process to review material data accuracy.
- Material setup:



define production BOM for new code and define Make or Buy based on industrial organization.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Management Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university or college; or equivalent experience.
- SAP MM module knowledge.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
