Experteer Overview As Investment Operations manager, you will shape and govern the data and processes that support investment analysis, reporting, and decision making. You will build and maintain the data architecture and quality controls across the Investment Department, enabling accurate, timely information and scalable operations. You will drive automation, oversee vendor relationships, and evolve the framework to support new asset classes, mandates, and Unit Linked products. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure governance, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Define and develop data architecture for investment analysis and reporting with internal and external stakeholders
Manage technology requests and system enhancements for operational effectiveness
Design and oversee data governance ensuring data consistency, integrity, and traceability
Identify and implement automation and process improvements for data quality and efficiency
Define and develop operational setup to execute investments, onboard asset classes, and support new Unit Linked products
Oversee Middle Office activities related to internal order management
Define, monitor, and maintain data quality KPIs across Allianz Group companies (Italy) and across business lines
Manage contractual relationships with Asset Managers and Custodian Banks; oversee tender processes and service performance
Oversee KYC/AML processes with counterparties
Govern Investment Operations framework including procedures, manuals, and DORA documentation; update Business Impact Analyses
Define, monitor, and control budgets
Review and authorize invoices from asset managers, custodians, and providers in line with contracts and governance
Responsabilità 7–12 years of professional experience in Investment Operations or related financial services environments
Master's degree in Engineering or Economics
CFA/FRM, MBA, PhD or equivalent certifications advantageous; OPEX belt certifications are a plus
Strong analytical, quantitative, and IT skills with Python, SQL, VBA, C/C++, or similar languages
Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of data management, reporting, and BI tools (Power BI or equivalent)
Familiarity with financial market data providers (Bloomberg, LSEG Workspace/Refinitiv, Morningstar)
Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and data architecture
Strong problem solving, automation, and process optimization abilities
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management across local and international teams
Solid understanding of investment processes, instruments, and operational framework
Process-oriented with focus on governance and continuous improvement
Fluency in Italian and English
