Over the next decade, technology will significantly disrupt automotive products and customer experiences. /ppThe strongHardware Electronics (HWE) /strong organization was created to build compelling and innovative hardware platforms at the forefront of automotive technology. /ppbr/ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /ppbr/pulliActively steer the development, launch and production of strongHigh Performance Computing (HPC) /strong hardware, overseeing all phases of the lifecycle. /liliWork closely with strongHPC Project Management /strong, strongHardware Platform Design (HWP) /strong, strongSoftware Development /strong, strongProduct Validation (DV/PV) /strong teams and strongElectronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) /strong suppliers. /liliContribute to the specification and design of strongHPC boards /strong for automotive applications. /liliCollaborate with internal customers to understand application requirements and define deliverables, including: /liliProduct Functional (PF) specifications /liliHardware-Software Interface Specifications (HSIS) /liliFunctional Safety requirements /liliSupport the evaluation of scalable architecture alternatives and development paths for HPC hardware platforms. /liliContribute to defining requirements related to scalability, cost, size, weight, power, performance, safety and timing for next-generation hardware platforms. /liliSupport the hardware implementation of strongCybersecurity /strong and strongFunctional Safety /strong requirements for HPC systems. /liliLead the creation of quality benchmarks and standards, providing technical guidance to internal teams, suppliers and partners. /liliProvide hardware technical support during strongDesign and Product Validation (DV/PV) /strong phases in collaboration with STLA validation teams and EMS suppliers.
/li /ulpbr/ppstrongBasic Qualifications /strong /ppbr/pulliBachelor’s degree in strongElectrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering /strong, or equivalent. /lili2 to 4 years of experience /liliExperience with circuit simulations and strongWorst Case Analysis /strong. /liliExperience creating strongHardware-Software Interface Specifications (HSIS) /strong. /liliExperience with schematic capture tools and strongeBOM variant management /strong (Altium Design preferred). /liliExperience with strongD-FMEA /strong. /liliHands-on, industry-relevant experience in strongautomotive electronic hardware development /strong. /liliStrong knowledge of analog and digital design, including: /liliPower Management ICs, MCU, digital logic, FPGA, SoC /liliDDR, UFS, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, CSI, DP, LVDS, TDM /liliExperience supporting hardware component validation (Electrical, EMC, ESD, Environmental). /liliAbility to analyze schematics and datasheets, understand processor architectures, memory options, automotive ICs, electrical I/O and automotive networks (CAN-FD, LIN, Ethernet, USB, PCIe). /liliHands-on experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, electronic loads and signal generators. /liliFamiliarity with automotive electronics standards (EMC/EMI, environmental testing), product verification and design safety factors. /liliStrong teamwork, communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently when required. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongPreferred Qualifications /strong /ppbr/pulliAdvanced degree in Electronics Engineering. /liliExperience in automotive hardware development within strongTier 1 or Tier 2 /strong suppliers.
