Responsibilities
Achieve annual Business Plan and cycle key performance indicators.
Achieve agreed sales, distribution and product mix targets on products and services.
Drive proactive prescribing and sell the clinical superiority of ACUVUE.
Use sales materials, handle objections and customize the approach to each individual customer to increase business.
Account Planning and Management: use territory reports, monthly sales/weekly KPI summary and CRM to create a territory/journey plan.
Use Self‑Directed Performance Management to plan and capitalize on opportunities.
Manage and proactively monitor ACUVUE Partner accounts and the remainder of the territory to achieve total Business Plan.
Build relationships with customers and colleagues to grow the business.
Territory Management: complete customer calls in line with account segmentation.
Complete journey plan, including pre‑call planning and objective setting.
Make future appointments in line with journey plans.
Input and utilize information available on the CRM system.
Market and Product Knowledge: maintain comprehensive, accurate and up‑to‑date product and clinical knowledge.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the industry, marketplace, customers and competitors.
Maintain knowledge of internal policy changes and manage the impact on the customer.
Provide feedback and market knowledge to the team.
Account Development: act on new marketing initiatives such as the launch of new products and services.
Actively contribute to the development and implementation of customer offering, taking ownership for the effective evaluation of customer activity.
Use customer business plans to effectively grow customer business, working where required within customer decisions.
Sell Acuvue products to key decision makers – coach customer and develop customer business.
Establish business plans – monitor progress against objectives and other targets.
Build customer relationships and maintain and improve levels of customer satisfaction.
Provide sales updates to customers and ensure joint ownership of business goals.
Attend required sales meetings/conferences.
Determine budgetary direction in customer practices, ensuring maximum return on investment to agreed target.
Requirements
A university degree, preferably in Economics, Marketing and Communications, or Optics and Optometry.
Experience in account management and negotiation.
Strong listening, questioning, communication and probing skills.
Ability to coach others.
Advanced analytical, numerical, tactical and long‑term thinking.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Priority setting capability.
Proven ability to act as both a team player and a leader, with demonstrated selling skills.
Demonstrable strategic planning skills.
Previous experience in sales & marketing within an FMCG or OTC pharmaceutical company considered a strong asset.
Residence and/or domicile within the assigned area, or willingness to relocate.
Valid driver's license.
English proficiency at an upper‑intermediate level.
