- Provide real‑time technical support to train drivers and operations teams during service faults.
- Coordinate with Alstom control room to monitor train systems remotely and respond promptly to operational anomalies.
- Coordinate with traffic control and fleet management to manage train availability and service recovery.
- Provide clear and accurate instructions or guidance based on established protocols and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to railway equipment, providing timely solutions and support to off‑site technical interventions.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of off‑site maintenance activities, including findings and recommendations.
- Analyze incidents and support post‑event investigations to determine technical causes.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams and contractors to support repairs and maintenance work.
- Participate in root‑cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct field inspections, special checks, and assessments of rolling stock.
- Review fleet failures, downtime reports and equipment histories to uncover reoccurring operation problems and utilize continuous improvement tools to implement solutions.

Educational Requirements
- Technical diploma or degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical) or proven experience in railway maintenance and operation.
Technical Knowledge / Experience
- Experience in train monitoring system development, validation or commissioning.
- Experience at system level in railway industries or large industrial plant (power, naval, etc.).
- Good knowledge of business analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
- Experience in customer service or technical support, preferably in a transportation or railway environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations in railway operations.
- Data‑driven: makes objective decisions based on data/facts.
Job Location / Mobility Requirements
- Based in Milano Fiorenza Depot, operating on a 7‑day weekly shift basis and providing on‑call support through a rotating shift pattern.
