Overview Experteer Overview In this role you will enable reliable trade finance delivery for clients, focusing on letters of credit and bank guarantees within Wholesale Banking Operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate processing, compliance, and timely settlements, while serving as a backup for core WB Ops activities. The position supports efficiency improvements and controls in trade finance workflows. This is an international, hybrid Milan role with opportunities to grow in a digital, customer-centric bank.
Benefits Receipt, advising and amendment of export documentary credits and input in the system
Handling bank credit lines for confirmed letters of credit
End-to-end processing including document checks, discrepancy resolution, and compliance checks
Issuing and amendment of import letters of credit and input in the system
Issuing and amendments/renewals of domestic and cross-border guarantees (drafting, credit line verification, client contact, commissions)
Verification of credit line availability




Collecting import/export bills
Screening and checks for compliance purposes and related reports
Booking into IFS/IRM
Reconciliation support
Support in transparency documents (DDS) generations, TFS related
Back up for WB Ops activities (approvals in IFS booking system)
Responsibilities Experience of at least 10 years in the role
Ability to manage critical situations through good decision-making skills
Master's degree in economics
Advanced knowledge of the English language
Knowledge of UCP.600; ISBP Publication No. 745
Knowledge of SWIFT Platform and related message types
Advanced level in Excel, Outlook
