We are looking for a young student for the Napoli Fusaro site to be placed in an internship with the aim of developing their degree thesis on the topic of methods for SIP production on the following arguments: The increasing demand for electronic devices with high integration, extreme miniaturization, and high performance has made System in Package (SiP) a strategic solution for the evolution of microelectronic systems.
However, the increase in integration density, the use of 2.5D/3D architectures, and the combination of heterogeneous technologies within the same package introduce new criticalities in terms of production complexity, quality control,



and reliability.
The idea is to analyze and develop new methods for optimizing SiP device production processes, with particular attention to the assembly, interconnection, and encapsulation phases, as well as testing methodologies.
Educational Qualification: Degree in STEM disciplines, with interest in the world of INDUSTRIAL/ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING Behavioral skills: Proactivity; Ability to work in a team; Learning orientation; Flexibility.
Language skills: Advanced knowledge of the English language, level B2-C1.
Computer skills: Office package; Main programming languages: Matlab, C, C++, Python Other (e.g. Willingness to travel, Specific certifications...): Willingness to make short trips within the national territory.
How does the selection process work?
