A company at the forefront of renewable energy is expanding its engineering team and looking for an Electrical Engineer specialising in photovoltaic systems. You will design solar farm electrical layouts, perform simulations and oversee installation phases.

Responsibilities
Design electrical schematics and single-line diagrams for solar PV installations (100kW to 10MW)
Perform PVsyst simulations and energy yield assessments
Select and size inverters, transformers, cabling and protection systems
Prepare technical documentation for permitting and grid connection
Coordinate with construction teams during installation phase
Conduct commissioning tests and troubleshooting




Must-have Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering
2+ years experience in solar PV system design
Proficiency with PVsyst, AutoCAD Electrical and MATLAB/Simulink
Knowledge of Italian grid code (CEI 0-21, CEI 0-16) and permitting processes
Fluent Italian and English
Nice-to-have Requirements
Experience with battery energy storage systems (BESS)
Knowledge of SCADA systems for solar farms
Experience with agrivoltaico projects
Personal Requirements
Genuine passion for renewable energy and sustainability
Willing to travel to project sites ******% of time)
Precise and methodical in technical calculations
Good team player with strong project coordination skills
