pstrongCATERING BOH SUPERINTENDENT /strong /ppstrong$ - $ Euros plus 5% bonus /strong /ppmonthly housing stipend and car allowance on top. /ppbr / /ppstrongPosition Summary /strong /ppReporting directly to the Site Team Manager-Newbuild and Commissioning, Superintend serves /ppas a key Owner’s Representative within the Newbuild organization, responsible for overseeing /ppand monitoring shipyard execution, subcontractor performance, and supplier deliverables /pprelated to outfitting, back-of-house (BOH), and associated vessel installations throughout the /ppyacht construction lifecycle. /ppThis role is responsible for ensuring all assigned systems, equipment, and installations are /ppexecuted in accordance with the Shipbuilding Contract, approved technical specifications, /ppclassification requirements, regulatory standards, quality expectations, and project delivery /ppmilestones. Acting as an extension of the Owner’s Newbuild organization, the Inspector /ppprovides technical oversight, operational guidance, quality assurance, and proactive issue /ppresolution to support timely vessel delivery, commissioning activities, and operational /ppreadiness. /ppThe position requires extensive cruise and yacht newbuild experience, with strong technical /ppknowledge across marine outfitting, safety systems, shipboard operations, and construction /ppmethodologies. The Inspector will work collaboratively with the shipyard, architects, /ppconsultants, classification societies, suppliers, operational stakeholders, and cross-functional /ppproject teams to support successful execution of the project from design review through final /ppdelivery and commissioning. /ppThis role plays a critical function in strengthening shipyard accountability, enforcing contractual /ppand quality standards, supporting integrated commissioning efforts, minimizing delivery risk, /ppand ensuring the vessel is delivered in alignment with Owner expectations, operational /pprequirements, and premium luxury brand standards. /p pstrongemThis position is located onsite at the Shipyards,
you will be required to walk extensively, lift up to 20KG, climb scaffolding ladders and work in a construction zone. /em /strong /p pstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /ppstrongNewbuild Oversight Execution /strong /pp - Provide on-site Owner representation and technical oversight for all assigned outfitting, BOH systems throughout construction, testing, commissioning, and delivery phases. /pp - Monitor shipyard progress, workmanship quality, installation sequencing, and contractor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, approved drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules. /pp - Support enforcement of quality assurance and quality control standards across all assigned scopes of work. /pp - Identify construction, installation, operational, and delivery risks proactively and collaborate with project stakeholders to develop timely corrective actions and mitigation plans. /pp - Ensure all deliverables support operational readiness, guest experience expectations, crew functionality, safety compliance, and premium yacht standards. /pp - Support integrated commissioning activities and ensure systems transition effectively /ppfrom construction through operational acceptance. /p pstrongTechnical Operational Responsibilities /strong /ppPrimary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
/pp - Main Galleys /pp - Provision Areas and Stores /pp - Cold Rooms and Freezers /pp - Food preparation areas /pp - Crew galleys and messes /pp - Dry Stores /pp - Beverage Stores /pp - Catering logistic routes /pp - Loading and receiving areas /pp - Bars and restaurants /pp - Apartment Catering areas /pp - Ensure operational functionality and maintainability of all spaces /pp - Responsible for the review, commenting and preparing of approval correspondence for /ppvessel plans, drawing, makers specification submitted by the Yard is attended to on time /pp - Attend at the daily inspections, commissioning activities or as directed related but not /pplimited to the above-mentioned systems /pp - Coordinate, apply quality measures and in any other way assist the Yard in complying /ppwith the required standards expected the project is to be built to. Provide solutions /ppwhich will agevolazioni the primarily the project, the Owner /pp - Coordinate troubleshooting and corrective actions /pp - Support the technical definition and the installation on board of the Owner supplied systems /pp - Assist for structuring the Inventory control system software (Catering and technical equipment function hierarchy, parts, and planned maintenance routines) /pp - Review and verify crew circulation routes, food flow logistics, waste handling flow, service efficiency, accessibility for maintenance and cleaning /pp - Ensure spaces are practical for real operational use and not only compliant on drawings /pp - Attend FATs and outside the Yard project activities /pp - Attend Harbor Acceptance Tests (HAT) and Sea Trials /pp - Verify system performance vs. design parameters /pp - Verify Hygiene standards, finishing quality, equipment alignment, proper drainage slopes, accessibility, equipment protection during construction /pp - Identify construction, installation, operational, and delivery risks proactively and collaborate with project stakeholders to develop timely corrective actions and mitigation plans. /pp - Ensure all deliverables support operational readiness, guest experience expectations, crew functionality, safety compliance, and premium yacht standards. /pp - Support integrated commissioning activities and ensure systems transition effectively from construction through operational acceptance. /p
