Ansaldo Nucleare provides tailored design and engineering , manufacturing , assembly, testing, commissioning, on-site installation and integrated logistics services for all market segments in which it operates: New Builds, Fusion, Plant Operation Assistance, Decommissioning and Waste Management .

Posizione

Design and development of nuclear mechanical components, machine elements and mechanical assemblies, supporting projects from concept definition through detailed design and preparation of manufacturing documentation.

Main responsibilities

- Develop 3D models, complex assebmlies and detailed manufacturing drawings using parametric 3D/2D CAD software.
- Perform mechanical basic sizing of nuclear components and machine elements using analytical methods and engineering calculations.
- Support structural verification activities through basic finite element analysis (FEA).
- Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, quality, and project teams to ensure successful product development and implementation.
- Participate in technical reviews and contribute to the selection of suitable design solutions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, company procedures and customer requirements.

Requisiti

- Master or equivalent Degree in Mechanical/Nuclear Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years’ experience in mechanical components design
- Skilled in the design of nuclear mechanical components and machine design principles.




- Knowledge of the sizing/calculation of mechanical components including 3D modelling and BIM methodology integration
- Knowledge of the construction/manufacturing norms and standard (i.e., ASME III / VIII, EN13445, etc.), Eurocodes and EU Directives (e.g. Machine Directive, PED).
- Proficiency with leading 3D CAD package, such as: Inventor, Siemens NX, CATIA.- Basic Finite Element Analysis (e.g., ANSYS, or similar struct. analysis sw).
- Ability to create and manage 3D models, assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Knowledge of technical drawing standards and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;) principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment,
- Capability to take initiative, with a proactive attitude and personal drive,
- Relationship oriented
- Fluent in English language (spoken and written, fluent),
- Willingness to travel

Altre informazioni

- For this position, the initial annual gross salary will be not less than 39000€
- Permanent contract
- CCNL industria metalmeccanica privata e installazione di impianti
- Premio di risultato and conditions in compliance with the second-level collective agreements.

The compensation package will be determined based on the candidate professional experience and technical skills as assessed during the selection process.
