Experteer Overview As Senior Tax Analyst, you will own Canadian income and indirect tax compliance within a dynamic, data-driven tax function. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to prepare filings, tax analyses, and supporting work papers, while refining data collection for filings. You'll navigate ambiguity, engage with tax authorities, and contribute to tax planning and strategy under the General Manager, Tax. This hybrid role combines hands?on tax work with exposure to broader accounting processes, offering impact across corporate tax matters within a growth?focused organization.
Retribuzione / Benefits Prepare annual Canadian income tax returns (T2), partnership information returns (T****), and other forms (T106, T****)
Prepare tax elections (e.g., T****) when applicable
Correspond with Canadian tax authorities as needed
Maintain tax working papers, analyses, and tax attribute calculations
Prepare monthly indirect tax returns and set up sales tax accounts/rates in ERP
Prepare monthly tax reconciliations and assist with deferred tax provision for Canadian units
Assist with audits and tax planning strategies
Support data collection improvements and liaise with third?party tax advisors
Responsabilità 5+ years of tax-related experience
CPA designation preferred
Experience with SAP Business One, Oracle Netsuite and/or TaxPrep is a plus
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, formulas)
Attention to detail and deadline-driven
Analytical mindset with problem-solving initiative
Ability to work independently within a larger finance team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
