As a Manufacturing Engineer at Baker Hughes you will play a crucial role in optimising our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of quality.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and improve manufacturing systems and processes.
/ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliDesign, develop, and optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
/liliCollaborate with product design and development teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
/liliConduct time studies and workflow analysis to identify areas for improvement.
/liliImplement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
/liliDevelop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
/liliTroubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to minimise downtime and ensure product quality.
/liliEvaluate and recommend new equipment, technologies, and methods to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
/liliTrain and support production staff in the implementation of new processes and technologies.
/liliEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
/liliServe as the technical reference for the Manufacturing Engineering team, ensuring adherence to standards and supporting continuous improvement.
/li /ulh3Fuel your passion /h3pTo be successful in this role you should have: /pulliBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field or proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a high-volume production environment.
/liliKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
/liliExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
/liliStrong communication and teamwork abilities.
/liliAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
/liliFluent in English and Italian.
/liliExperience with automation and robotics in manufacturing is a plus.
/liliProficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools is a plus.
