ph3Purpose of Position /h3 pThe Senior Financial Analyst will build the scalable financial data processes that support accounting operations.
Working closely with the Financial Data Team Leader, this role sources and pre-transforms operational data from source systems, ERP and finance tools, and turns it into automated reconciliations and reporting that accounting teams can rely on for month-end close, credit control, working capital and other financial operations.
/p pThis role is the technical execution engine of the finance data squad — building the pipelines, reconciliations and reports that the Financial Data Team Leader prioritizes and owns at a strategic level.

/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Financial Data Sourcing Transformation /h3 ul liSource and pre-transform accounting data from source systems, ERP and finance tools to support financial bookings and close processes /li liBuild and maintain scalable data pipelines that feed accounting and financial reporting processes /li liEnsure accuracy, traceability and auditability of the financial data inputs you build /li /ul h3Automated Reconciliations /h3 ul liDesign and build automated reconciliation processes between source systems, ERP and downstream reporting, reducing manual reconciliation work for accounting teams /li liInvestigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, escalating systemic or recurring issues to the Financial Data Team Leader /li liWork with the Financial Data Team Leader to refine requirements and manage the delivery backlog for reconciliation and pipeline work /li /ul h3Process Optimization /h3 ul liBuild automation that removes manual data manipulation from accounting teams' day-to-day work /li liSupport the efficiency and reliability of month-end close by keeping data flows and reconciliations running smoothly /liliFlag recurring data quality issues at source and work with Data Engineering to fix them upstream /li liProactively identifies data gaps, quality issues and process inefficiencies and proposes solutions /li /ul h3Operational Financial Reporting /h3 ul liDevelop reporting to support accounting and operational finance processes such as: Credit control and collections, Working capital monitoring, Revenue operational reconciliation,



Transaction-level financial controls /li liProvide accountants with visibility into financial process drivers and anomalies /li /ul h3Data Governance /h3 ul liApply consistent data definitions in your builds, flagging inconsistencies to the Financial Data Team Leader /li liWork with Finance Systems to maintain alignment between source systems and ERP structures /li /ul h3Key Skills /h3 ul li3+ years experience in Finance, Accounting, or Data Analytics /li liComfortable working across finance and data teams to get reconciliation and reporting builds right /li liSolid understanding of accounting processes (close cycle, revenue recognition, reconciliations, working capital) /li liAbility to translate accounting requirements into data specifications /li liComfortable engaging with Finance Operations stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear technical specifications /li liMeticulous and detail-oriented, with the rigor reconciliation and financial control work demands /li liStrong process improvement mindset ( thinking about the end user, iterating based on feedback, and caring about the quality and reliability of what they deliver) /li liAbility to structure complex financial data problems /li liCapable of communicating complex problems to all level of stakeholders /li liBachelor's Degree in a Finance, Business or Analytics related field /li liStudying towards or holding AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent (advantageous, not required) /li liFluent English; an additional European language is advantageous given the multi-location remit but not essential /li liStrong SQL skills, including window functions, CTEs, and working with large transactional datasets /li liExperience working with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.), Python experience is a plus /li liExperience working with ERP systems and financial data structures /li liUnderstanding of data pipelines and data modelling concepts; familiarity with Finance Data Warehouse concepts is a plus /li /ul h3Our Offer /h3 ul libFlexi-Week /b:
