The ideal candidate will assist in the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of secure LAN/WAN environments.
You will work alongside senior engineers to ensure high availability, security, and performance of classified networks, directly supporting mission-critical operations.
/p /brh3Responsibilities: /h3 /brul /brliNetwork Operations: Assist in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Brocade).
/li /brliMonitoring Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance utilizing enterprise management tools (such as SolarWinds) and provide Tier II/III troubleshooting support to resolve connectivity and operational issues.
/li /brliSecurity Compliance: Implement and maintain network security protocols, ensuring compliance with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
/li /brliCOMSEC Management: Assist with the handling, configuration, and maintenance of cryptographic devices (e.g., KG series) and secure communications equipment.
/li /brliDocumentation: Create and update detailed network topology diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and configuration records.
/li /brliSystem Integration: Collaborate with systems administrators to ensure seamless integration across Windows, Linux,



and VMware vSphere environments.
/li /br /ul /brh3Qualifications: /h3 /brpbRequired: /b /p /brul /brliEducation: BS Engineering or related field /li /brliClearance: Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance.
/li /brliExperience: Minimum 3 years of practical experience in network administration or engineering, preferably within a DoD or highly regulated environment.
/li /brliCertifications: DoD -M IAT Level II compliance (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) is required prior to start.
/li /brliCore Skills: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and switching technologies.
/li /br /ul /brpbDesired: /b /p /brul /brliAdditional Clearances: Polygraph is highly desired.
/li /brliVendor Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA).
