Responsibilities Develop and optimize Thin Film Lithium Niobate (TFLN) manufacturing processes according to R&D; and product development requirements, with particular focus on thin film deposition, vacuum technologies, and dry/plasma etching.
Lead process industrialization activities and support the transfer of developed processes from R&D; into manufacturing, both internally and at qualified external foundry partners.
Act as technical interface between internal teams and external manufacturing partners, ensuring process specifications, performance targets, and quality requirements are correctly implemented and maintained.
Monitor process performance across internal and external production sites, identifying opportunities for yield improvement, cycle time reduction, and cost optimization.
Investigate process and product issues through structured root-cause analysis and corrective actions, coordinating activities with production engineering, quality, and external partners.
Establish and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC)
methodologies and process monitoring systems to improve process capability, yield, and manufacturing robustness.
Collaborate with equipment engineering, maintenance teams, and external suppliers on process-related equipment upgrades, qualification, and calibration activities.
Work closely with EHS representatives to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure process documentation, specifications, work instructions, qualification reports, and change management records are properly maintained and controlled.
Deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to manufacturing personnel and external partners when required.
