More information can be found on the corporate website: The Senior Tax Professional will report to the Tax Director responsible for Tax Planning and Group Tax Accounting. The role requires a strong background on direct and indirect taxes laws procedures with an Italian focus, and solid understanding of tax accounting concepts and experience with financial reporting within a multinational enterprise. Support the development and implementation of the Group’s tax strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Analyze and assess the tax implications of business initiatives, corporate transactions, restructurings, acquisitions, divestitures. Ensure appropriate tax advice and guarantee continuous updating on changes in fiscal regulations occurring to the national/international laws impacting on the area of responsibility, by providing interpretations to the Group functions involved, studying the trends, making proposals about new operating ways to optimize fiscal process management and defining relative procedures for effective execution, according to the current laws and in compliance with the internal Group policies and procedures.
Support the development and enhancement of the Group’s tax reporting framework, processes, and governance model to improve efficiency, transparency, and risk management. Results-oriented professional with a business partnering approach, capable of balancing technical excellence, risk management, and business objectives to support informed decision-making. Highest standards of professional integrity, ethics, and judgment, with a strong commitment to compliance, governance, and responsible tax management. Minimum 5⁄7 years income tax and/or tax accounting experience with a large multinational company and/or Big 4 accounting firm with a focus on international taxation. Degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting; Law Degree or Masters degree in Taxation preferred. CPA certification or relevant certification. Exposure to multi-national environment and availability for international travel.
