p Our client is dedicated to making nuclear power more accessible and focuses on delivering: p Simple and Safe Micro-Reactor Solutions /pp Scalable, affordable, and deployable in various locations /pp Generates energy at a rate of one megawatt electric (MWe) at a time /pp They are currently developing a Micro Modular Reactor /pp Capable of providing clean energy and radioisotopes where needed /pp Initially supporting the reactor licensing process in the United States /pp By partnering with them, we have the opportunity to contribute to A Rapidly Growing Scaleup /pp Aiming to become a leading technology provider in global energy solutions /pp Committed to innovation and sustainability /pp This collaboration offers a unique chance to be part of a High-Performance Team /pp Focused on delivering essential energy solutions worldwide /pp RESPONSABILITIES DUTIES /pp The Nuclear Fluid Systems Engineer will be responsible for: /pp Responsible for the design, analysis, and optimization of fluid-based systems in nuclear power plants, research reactors, and other nuclear facilities. /pp Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of cooling, steam, and hydraulic systems while maintaining strict compliance with nuclear safety and regulatory standards. /pp Working closely with reactor engineers, regulatory agencies, and maintenance teams to develop and improve system performance, reliability, and safety. /pp What you will be in charge off: /pp Designing, analyzing, and optimizing nuclear fluid systems, including reactor coolant, steam generation, condensate, and hydraulic systems. /pp Conducting thermal-hydraulic modeling, flow analysis, and pressure drop calculations to ensure system efficiency and safety. /pp Developing and maintaining system documentation, including flow diagrams, PIDs, operating procedures, and safety reports. /pp Performing system reliability assessments, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for fluid system failures. /pp Ensuring compliance with NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) regulations,



ASME codes, and other industry standards. /pp Collaborating with reactor engineers, safety specialists, and regulatory bodies to enhance fluid system performance. /pp Supporting the testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fluid systems in nuclear facilities. /pp Assisting in plant modifications, upgrades, and retrofits for improved efficiency and regulatory compliance. /pp Evaluating material compatibility and corrosion effects to ensure long-term fluid system integrity. /pp Providing technical support and training to plant operators and maintenance personnel. /pp Profil recherché /pp CANDIDATE PROFILE /pp Education: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related field. /pp Experience: 3-7 years in fluid system design, thermal-hydraulic analysis, or nuclear plant operations (entry-level positions may require internships or co-op experience). /pp Certifications (Preferred): PE (Professional Engineer) license, ASME Boiler Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) certification, or equivalent industry credentials. /pp Expertise: In fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer principles. /pp Proficiency: In hydraulic modeling and simulation software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, STAR CCM+, Flowmaster). /pp Knowledge: Of nuclear reactor coolant systems, heat exchangers, and steam turbines. /pp Familiarity: With ASME BPVC, NRC regulatory requirements, and ANSI standards for nuclear fluid systems. /pp Experience: With computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA) is a plus. /pp Strengths: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. /pp Skills: Effective communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with engineers, operators, and regulatory agencies. /pp Attention to Detail: A commitment to nuclear safety and compliance. /pp Ability: To work under pressure and manage multiple projects with strict deadlines. /pp Preferred: /pp PhD degree. /pp IPO experience. /pp Written and oral fluency in Italian. /pp Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization. /p /p
