Tecnimont is seeking Process Control Automation Specialist to join our team in Catania. brThe successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing integrated solutions for complex plants designed to provide access to the latest technologies in our large-scale projects worldwide. brIf you are passionate about making a meaningful impact in reducing the carbon footprint of industrial operations, we encourage you to apply. brWith a rich heritage of technological innovation and a forward-thinking approach, we lead the energy transition through engineering excellence, cutting-edge technology and strong and dynamic execution capability. brThe Process Control Automation Specialist, within the projects in which he/she is involved, analyzes possible technical solutions, prepares the related technical specifications, and evaluates the suppliers of process control and automation systems brs:Following the guidelines of the Responsible, the Process Control Automation Specialist has the following main responsibilities: brPrepare the required documentation in compliance with project contractual requirements, allocated budget, and project schedule; brReview and comment on documents produced by Vendors during project development; brCoordinate with the Commercial Function on requests related to the systems under responsibility in line with ongoing bid requirements, issuing material requisitions and managing the technical alignment of the shortlisted vendors; brPerform factory acceptance tests (FAT)
for the systems under responsibility, in close collaboration with the Functions in charge of testing activities; brAssist Construction and Commissioning departments based on project needs and requests; brSupport the implementation and continuous update of operating standards, procedures, and working methodologies related to the systems under responsibility; brContribute to updating historical, technical, and commercial data across the Group's relevant systems; brParticipate in power-on and site acceptance tests (SAT) of the Control Systems at plant site; brKeep up to date with technical developments related to plant digitalization, industrial applications, and discipline-specific innovations, also by participating in discipline technical training; brAccording to the complexity of the activities managed and level of autonomy, the above-mentioned activities are assigned to the Process Control Automation Specialist/Senior Specialist. brDegree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering brMinimum 10 years of experience as Automation Specialist within Oil Gas, Energy or industrial projects. brFluent English speaker and writer brAvailability to travel for short/medium period in Italy and abroad brContract Type and Classification: brContract type: Permanent Applicable collective agreement (NCLC):
