You will be part of the Converse Global Women’s team, collaborating closely with design, product management, development, and sourcing partners. This role connects across functions and geographies, working with internal teammates and external vendors to bring innovative material concepts to life while delivering high-quality, consumer-focused products.

We’re looking for a Senior Materials Developer who blends creativity with technical expertise and thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment. You bring a deep understanding of footwear construction and materials, combined with strong project management skills to guide ideas from concept to production. You’re a proactive problem solver who contributes confidently in cross‑functional discussions and drives innovation through materials, textiles, trims, and graphics.

You stay curious about trends and technologies and continuously seek opportunities to elevate product quality, sustainability, and performance.

- Proven experience in footwear development from concept through production
- Strong knowledge of materials, construction, costing, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to interpret design intent and translate it into scalable solutions
- Skilled in managing multiple projects in a deadline‑driven environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Illustrator; familiarity with CAD pattern design tools
