The position will execute and deliver cyber security projects on both shoreside and onboard environments and help accelerate MSC Cruises journey to protect computer systems, networks, and data. The successful candidate will also update and tune security tools. (es. Firewalls). The role involves remote support to the incident response cyber unit. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 ul liOperate and optimize security tooling/products, including security email gateway, firewall, IDS/IPS, web security gateway, emergency detect and response, logging and auditing, event and incident management, privileged access management and authentication. /li liUpdate documentation and maintain security controls and tools as needed. /li liSupport the implementation of new security controls and software. /li liSupports IT during patching and vulnerability remediation phases.
/li liAnalyze and respond to previously undisclosed software and hardware vulnerabilities. /li liSupport IT and Users during technical troubleshooting. /li liParticipate in the Incident response process. /li liReview on a continuous improvement of configurations to increase level of security and protection. /li liPerforms other duties as assigned. /li /ul h3QUALIFICATIONS (skills, Competencies, Experience) /h3 ul liA degree in computer science, IT, Computer engineering or related qualification. /li liMinimum 4+ years’ of experience in network security or another cyber security role. /li liGood Knowledge of operating systems’ administration and of network security technologies (e.g. security email gateway, firewall, IDS/IPS, web security gateway, emergency detect and response, etc.). /li liAbility to manage multiple engagements competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment. /li liItalian as primary language and fluent English. /li liAvailable to support on call operation activities during non-standard working hours. /li liAdaptable individual and Team player. /li liKnowledge and/or certification on following solutions is considered a plus: Palo Alto, Proofpoint, Zscaler, Checkpoint, Microsoft Azure/O365. /li liThe following certifications are considered a plus: CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, SANS GIAC. /li liTravel: 20% of the time.
