Role Description

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Milan. This is a full-time, hybrid role offering flexibility to work from home for part of the week. In this position, you will develop and execute regional sales strategies to expand market share and achieve revenue targets for our yeast and yeast-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective regional sales plans to drive growth and meet commercial objectives

Manage and grow key accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities

Conduct regular customer visits to present technical and commercial solutions tailored to client needs

Collaborate closely with internal teams including marketing, technical support, and supply chain to ensure customer satisfaction, timely delivery, and competitive market positioning

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions

Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates

Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and professional networking opportunities

Maintain detailed and up-to-date records in CRM systems

Qualifications

Essential





Proven experience in regional or territory sales management, ideally within food ingredients, biotechnology, or related B2B sectors

Strong customer relationship management, account development, and negotiation skills

Ability to analyze market data, develop sales plans, and manage forecasts and pipelines effectively

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear commercial value propositions

Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with strong self-organization, time management, and autonomy

Fluency in Italian and a good command of English

Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region and occasionally to international meetings or events

Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office, and digital collaboration platforms A customer-centric mindset, ethical approach to sales, and a genuine interest in yeast biotechnology and healthy living solutions

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, Biotechnology, or a related field

Familiarity with the Italian feed and pet food sectors – candidates with direct industry experience in these areas are particularly encouraged to apply

Additional European languages are considered an advantage
