Description On behalf of an important reality that operates in the space field, we are looking for a User Ground Segment System Engineer.

Qualifications Master's degree or comparable in Computer Engineering

- Definition and justification of User Ground Segment architecture, from concept to detailed design phase
- Definition and control of User Ground Segment technical interfaces, internal and external
- Definition and control of User Ground Segment software technical budget and margins
- Professional experience of at least five years in Ground Segment engineering projects for space systems, in Phase C/D as mandatory
- Professional experience of at least five years in definition and design of S/S for EO systems for institutional and/or commercial customers
- Strong competences in virtualization technologies and hypervisors (e.g. VMWare), including database virtualization




- Knowledge of secure network architectures, vulnerability testing, threat modeling;

Experience in the definition, management and traceability of requirements structure with the support of DOORS

- Proven capability to define G/S design through model‐based methods, techniques and tools (e.g. SysML, UML)
- Sound knowledge of ground system engineering processes and ground system software life cycles
- Knowledge of relevant ECSS standards
- Fluency in both spoken and written (Business) English
- Italian skills are desirable.

Tasks

Analysis of the Qualification data package provided by the UGS SW supplier

- Support to the GS AIV team for the UGS Integration activities.
