Software Verification & Validation Engineer (V&V;) – Aerospace & Aviation:

TXT e-Tech, a company of the TXT Group and a leader in the development of high-tech software solutions, is looking for a Software Test Engineer to join its Aerospace & Aviation division.

You will become part of our Ground Station Team, working closely with testing professionals, software developers, and project engineers to ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of software solutions developed for the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret software requirements, ensuring their completeness, consistency, and correct implementation.
Design and execute functional, integration, and performance tests to validate system behavior.
Define and verify operational requirements and Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) within dedicated test scenarios.
Identify, track, and monitor software anomalies and defects, collaborating with the relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
Create and maintain technical and testing documentation, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
Perform software verification and validation activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
Requirements
Technical or scientific diploma,



or a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
Interest in software testing and software quality assurance activities.
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Nice to Have
Previous experience, even limited, in Software Testing activities.
Knowledge of requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS.
Familiarity with aerospace and avionics standards and processes, particularly DO-178.
Experience in drafting technical documentation and test reports.

A permanent contract with a gross annual salary ranging from EUR 28.000 to EUR 33,000, depending on experience.
Classification and compensation will be defined during the selection process based on experience and in accordance with the Italian Metalworkers Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico).
Work location: Cologno Monzese (Milan), with a hybrid working model.
