Program Purpose
The First at Fendi Internship Program is designed to offer students and recent graduates a meaningful and immersive experience within the Maison, combining exposure to real business activities with the opportunity to contribute to a dedicated project of strategic relevance.
Within this framework, the Retail Operations Europe Intern will join the Retail Operations team based in Rome and support the coordination of operational activities across the European retail network. The internship aims to provide a dynamic learning journey, enabling the intern to develop professional skills, gain hands-on experience, and deepen their understanding of Fendi’s business, values, and standards of excellence.
The intern will be involved in daily operational activities while also contributing to a dedicated project aligned with the priorities of the Retail Operations team.

Job responsibilities
- Support the coordination and monitoring of retail operations across Europe, in line with Company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Gather, consolidate, and analyze operational data and KPIs, preparing reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Provide hands-on operational support for exclusive sales events, including merchandise handling, unpacking, display setup, and on-site organization.
- Contribute to the implementation and follow-up of operational best practices across the network.
- Support inventory-related activities, including stock movements, cycle counts, and stock-takes.
- Liaise with Supply Chain and After Sales teams to facilitate the smooth management of shipments, transfers, repairs, and related follow-up.
- Help ensure the availability of operational supplies and packaging materials across the network.
- Facilitate communication between stores and central functions, including Finance, IT, Facilities, Security, Legal, Internal Control,
and HR.
- Support operational reviews, audits, and follow-up actions.
- Contribute to special projects such as store openings, refurbishments, and the rollout of new tools and processes.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong interest in luxury retail and operational excellence.
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical mindset.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English and Italian; any additional language is a plus.
Additional information
For internship programs, the monthly reimburse associated is EUR 800.
This role is also eligible for lunch tickets.

The Fendi Maison was established by Adele and Edoardo Fendi in Rome in 1925. The opening of the first Fendi boutique – a handbag shop and fur workshop followed. Soon winning international acclaim, Fendi emerged as a brand renowned for its elegance, craftsmanship, innovation and style.
