The company has developed and patented a proprietary technological platform for Supercritical Water Precipitation (SWaPTM) , capable of achieving recovery rates exceeding 99% , reducing toxic waste production, and minimizing environmental impact compared to traditional mining processes. In March 2025 , Circular Materials was selected by the European Commission as a Strategic Project under the Critical Raw Materials Act (CRMA) —one of only a few projects chosen in Italy and across Europe. This recognition highlights our key role in strengthening the resilience of supply chains and developing a sustainable alternative to primary extraction.
Circular Materials is currently executing an ambitious expansion plan at both the national and European levels, aimed at establishing a network of industrial hubs designed to treat large volumes of waste and transform them into secondary raw materials. We partner with industrial companies to: Treat metal-bearing effluents. Reduce disposal costs and environmental impact. Recover critical raw materials and reintegrate them into the production supply chain. Our goal is to build a new European industrial infrastructure for metal recovery, unlocking the value of existing industrial flows.
