The Coordinator ensures all work environments; office and plant are safe and in compliance with all OSHA Standards. /ph3JOB FUNCTION/PURPOSE /h3ulliUnderstands that continual personal growth is necessary and is intentionally improving year after year. /liliMonitor staff to evaluate if health and safety laws are being followed. /liliAssess equipment and machinery to gauge if they are in safe, working order. /liliInvestigate on-site accidents. /liliCreate plans to improve health and safety in the workplace. /liliEducate staff on health and safety protocols. /liliPrepare reports for management. /liliMeeting with the management team to define EHS goals and objectives. /liliTraining employees on health and safety policies and best practices. /liliConducting inspections and identifying hazards and EHS violations. /liliProviding solutions and intervention strategies for hygiene, health, and safety hazards. /liliImplementing new health and safety protocols and measures to ensure compliance with regulations. /liliMonitoring operational processes and employee activities. /liliGenerating assessment documentation, incident and accident reports, and health and safety manuals. /liliReporting to management, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies. /liliPreparing and submitting health and safety compliance documents to the relevant organizations. /liliKeeping abreast of the latest EHS trends, policies, regulations,



and best practices. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3h3EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE COMPETENCIES /h3ulliBachelor’s degree related to the EHS field or commensurate experience. /liliMinimum 2 years of manufacturing experience, at least 2 years as a Safety Coordinator or Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator. /liliKnowledge of OSHA Standards and Compliance. /liliFamiliarity with air permitting, spill prevention control and countermeasure plans, wastewater/storm water discharge permits, storage tank regulations, Emergency Planning, and waste disposal regulations. /liliStrong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills. /liliSelf-starter with the ability to develop strategies in line with the company's business vision. /liliAbility to handle multiple projects within a fast pace work environment. /liliStrong interpersonal relationship skills. /liliSystems knowledge (MS Office, Outlook). /liliBilingual in Spanish/English preferred /liliValid Driver's License with DMV evidence of good driving record. /li /ulh3Core Competencies /h3ulliHigh ethical standards.
