GENERAL SUMMARY
Oversee the peer mentor/internship of Recovery Program Leadership (RPL). Provides administration and facilitation (or properly delegates facilitation) for RPL Peer Mentor Level and Intern Levels 1 and 2, as well as the JP program. Serves as a mentor and coach to RPL peer mentors and interns. The RPL Manager provides a wide variety of administrative support services to the Justin's Place staff and residents. Works closely with Program Leadership and performs office work and other tasks directly related to Justin's Place. Performs all responsibilities while demonstrating outstanding customer service skills representative of St. Matthew's House as it relates to this function. RPL Manager must be trustworthy, work well in a team environment, and maintain a neat, professional appearance. The ability to work safely and co-operatively in a variety of situations is a must. Leadership Manager has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, is part of an active faith community, and can share their faith both verbally and by example. St. Matthew's House is a faith-based 501(c)(3) charitable organization that exists to transform lives in a spiritual environment that is both compassionate and disciplined.
ESSENTIAL TASKS
Serves as a Life-Balance Coach (including overseeing and approving all RPL social/ service events within the program)
Track RPL Balance and self-care (individually and corporally)



in coordination with Life-Balance duties
Oversee and administer all necessary tasks and facets of RPL and JP
Assist Program Director and Sr. Director in identifying potential residential servant leaders to participate in RPL
Promote and maintain a positive climate for the RPL among staff and the residential body
Track/Update all data on 'RPL Tracking Sheet" by set day/date each month
Participate in regular RPL meetings (involving RPL updates and assessments)
Facilitate weekly Peer Mentor Level and Intern Levels 1 & 2 group meetings for training and discussion, and monthly Level 2 individual meetings
Conduct and track Peer Mentor Level and Intern Levels 1, 2 Quarterly Assessments
Generate interest in RPL through regular leadership promotion presentation
Distribute and gather RPL applications/ sign-up sheets as well as all RPL materials (books, syllabus, study guides, etc.) by the 1st of each month
Order Books and Materials by the 4th week of the month
Proctor all tests by the last week of the month
Keep RPL participants' documents on file for records (applications, tests, etc.)
Establish and maintain an RPL library (can be a subset of the existing library)
Guide and oversee RPL Intern Level 2 CRPS certification process from start to finish
Submit monthly participant progress report to designated Directors




Allow for flexibility in this role and be prepared to help grow this program and position as deemed necessary
Point person for NHC and coordinating residential appointments
Maintains up-to-date and accurate program rosters and documents
Inputs Program fees via Mission Tracker, as needed
Prepares reports by compiling statistical data and ordering supplies as needed
Ensures residents are following/maintaining Justin's Place guidelines as outlined in the resident handbook. Issues warnings for non-compliance, when applicable
Oversees transportation needs for residents: working with Case Managers and approved Drivers. This involves creating, printing, and overseeing the daily schedule with residential appointments to ensure that transportation to/ from approved locations is provided
Knowledge of Mission Tracker and Case Management competencies, documentation, and Justin's Place assessment procedures, including performing residential case management occasionally, in order to be properly immersed in the program structure and culture
Other duties as needed and assigned by the Program Director
Requirements
Education:
High School diploma required, associate's degree/bachelor's degree preferred with an emphasis on leadership or addiction specialties.
Experience
: A minimum of 2 years' experience working in the addiction field. CRSS or CRPS required.
Confidentiality:
Works with highly confidential information.
Mental/Visual Demands:
Flow of work requires normal mental and visual capabilities.
Physical Demand:
Must be able to stand for a minimum of 4 hours at a time and lift at least 25 pounds. Must be able to bend or kneel to the ground.
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment.
