You will work closely with Design, Applications, Product Engineering, Quality, and System teams to identify, debug, and resolve silicon and system-level issues while supporting aggressive product development and New Product Introduction (NPI) schedules. /ppFor our new Design Center in Catania, we are looking for a passionate engineer who thrive on innovation, enjoy solving complex technical challenges, and is committed to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliValidate analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power management ICs against electrical, functional, and performance specifications. /liliDefine validation methodologies, develop comprehensive validation plans, and ensure complete feature coverage. /liliDesign, develop, and optimise advanced laboratory test setups for complex silicon evaluation. /liliDesign custom evaluation boards and supporting hardware for silicon characterization. /liliDevelop automated validation frameworks and measurement scripts using Python. /liliPerform data acquisition, statistical analysis, result correlation, and preparation of detailed technical reports.



/liliEvaluate silicon performance at device, board, and system level, identifying, documenting, and tracking silicon and application issues. /liliGenerate validation reports, silicon evaluation summaries, and regular project status updates while meeting validation milestones. /liliProactively track assigned activities, identify execution risks, and drive timely issue resolution. /liliCollaborate closely with Design, Applications, Firmware, Product Engineering, and Quality teams to investigate and resolve silicon and system-level bugs. /liliDrive continuous improvement of validation methodologies, laboratory automation, and overall silicon evaluation efficiency. /liliContribute innovative ideas that enhance validation quality, automation, productivity, and time-to-market. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline. /liliHands-on experience in bench validation and debugging of mixed-signal or power management ICs. /liliStrong laboratory skills and hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, source meters, digital multimeters, waveform generators, logic analyzers, and thermal equipment. /liliProficiency with Python programming with particular use for lab automation hardware environments /liliGood knowledge of power management applications in consumer electronic /liliBoard level analog and digital circuit design expertise for PCB schematic creation /liliStrong analytical and debugging skills with a systematic approach to problem solving. /liliSelf-motivated, proactive,
