Smart edge Client is looking for an individual to help with their #Information Security Specialist @Milan, Italy Job Description: Information Security Specialist In?Scope (Vendor Roles/Activities/Responsibilities): * Manage Security Management activities assigned by the InfoSec department, coordinate remediation activities in Europe by interacting with the support people assigned in each country Maintenance * XOLT Application Software: Ship WS, ECIS Ship, XOLT Gen WS, XOLT ECIS Gen, XOLT Track WS, XOLT ECIS Track, Tradeability, AV Rest/AVSDK, Import Gateway, Enhanced Monitoring/XMON * Remediation of vulnerabilities identified by Penetration Testing and Qualys scanning * Management of operating system obsolescence and lifecycle Security incidents detected by tools installed on machines * Implementation of projects to improve IT security related to firewalls, authentication, network segmentation, etc.



* Work to achieve and maintain the security level required by InfoSec * Strong communication skills (both oral and written) * Will need to work closely with UPS IT, InfoSec, App personnel, and potential direct engagement with UPS customers * Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English * Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint * Network security (firewalls, TCP/IP) * penetration testing, SIEM/EDR tools * cryptography * OS administration (Windows, Linux) If this sounds like a role you would be interested in or if you know someone in this field.
