All about the role:
We are looking for an engineer who is fully empowered to operationally manage the intralogistics within the facilities from informational and material perspective to ensure safety, quality, cost and delivery KPI's and effective cooperation with all involved parties.
The position is reporting to Supply Chain Manager and a pivotal function in the plant and EMEA structures.
What you'll do:
In this position it is needed to be able to develop Material Handling flows and processes (unloading, verify, put-away, picking, storage to point of use) and support the operational implementation.
In detail, you will:
draw layouts (locations) of storage place, propose new storage systems, physical changes in trolleys (train concept), and new technical features in forklifts with following supervision in investment process (including CAPEX budget planning) if necessary.
perform diagnostics (f.e. time-study) and lead teams (raised ad hoc) in process improvement.
perform new lean tools implementations or support sustainability of current existing ones
perform activities related to packaging – definition of new ones on request of Purchasing (by new Supplier), improve currently used (from cardboard to returnable for example), label implementation in coordination with all functions involved in packaging definition (Safety, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, Times&Method;)
propose systemic changes in IT infrastructure (WMS, ERP) for efficient intralogistics process.
Who you are:
University degree in business, logistics, engineering or related field is required
Broad and solid background in intralogistics functions as: logistics, engineering, process improvement, lean processes.
Advanced excel and power point.
Planning, project management and organizational skills.
Clear and effective communication;
Team player with ability to interface with all facility functions, senior management, customers and suppliers;
Strong practical problem-solving skills and analytical approach;

You will be based in Electrolux main Food Preservation global site, in Susegana (TV), only 1 hour distance from Venice, where we are undergoing multimillion industry 4.0 investment. Here you will interact with different functions of the organization such as Quality, Maintenance, R&D;, Production, and Supply Chain with the common goal to create the refrigeration of the future.
