The Engine BTE-Friction-Thermal Virtual Analysis engineer will work within Propulsion Systems Virtual Engineering team and collaborate with Product Release Centers (PRCs and other stakeholders) and with other Stellantis cross-functional teams to support product development and methodological activities through CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) in the area of Engine Brake Thermal Efficiency (BTE), Engine Friction and Engine Thermal analysis. This position reports to the Global CAE Manager of the discipline. Robust technical, interpersonal and team leadership skills are essential.
Activities
The responsibility of the Engine BTE-Friction-Thermal Virtual Analysis engineer will include, but not limited to:
• Engine 1D/0D Fuel Economy assessment.
• Engine Structural Thermal Model (STM) development.
• Engine Lube circuit model development.
• Cranktrain friction model development.
• Valvetrain friction model dev
