As an intern, you will work closely with your mentor and other employees who will help you apply your knowledge and grow your skills on projects that have a significant impact. Internships are available with a variety of engineering teams across the company including design, manufacturing and operations in Los Angeles.

Top priority will be placed on students with applicable coursework and project experience in the following areas:
- Communications Engineering: Air interface design, Physical layer (PHY), media access control (MAC) layer, waveform design, protocols and modulation techniques,



channel coding and error correction methodologies
- Electrical Engineering: Hardware design, Power systems for satellites, Circuit design for modems and signal processing
- Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering: Design of phased array antennas, RF circuit design and testing, etc)
- Digital Signal Processing (DSP): Algorithms for signal modulation and demodulation, Digital beamforming techniques
- Silicon Engineering: ASIC implementation, RFIC implementation, firmware, architecture, design, validation, product engineering
- Aerospace Engineering: Satellite system design and integration; Thermal and structural considerations in space environments
- Network Engineering: Routing and data management strategies for satellite data
- Guidance, Navigation & Control Systems Engineering: Attitude and orbit control systems for satellites; Feedback mechanisms for beam steering
