Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Fire Engineer at Fire Investigation, Risk, Evaluation Consultancy Ltd office in Tradate, ***** (VA), Italy.
As a Fire Engineer, your day-to-day tasks will involve conducting fire safety engineering assessments, ensuring life safety standards, implementing fire safety measures, and evaluating safety engineering practices, in particular preparing:
Fire Strategies for residential, commercial, industrial, transportation, and educational premises considering the Approved Document B (ADB) and the British Standard (BS) approach;




Fire Risk Assessment of External Walls to evaluate the risk of fire spread on residential facades, considering the PAS**** approach, with the final goal to deliver a EWS1 form;
Technical Notes to justify design deviations from the guidance, but compliance with the Building Regulations, using the fire engineering principles in the BS **** codes;
Safety Case documents.
Qualifications (basic)
Engineering or Architectural or similar degree, possibly Fire Engineering specialization;
B2 Level English;
Word and Excel knowledge.
Qualifications (preferable)
Fire Engineering degree;
Knowledge of Approved Document B and British Standards;
C1/C2 Level English.
Career
The business is encouraging to achieve the:
Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE);
Chartered Engineer (CEng) Higher-Risk Buildings (HRB) status with the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE);
120-hour fire prevention specialization course to register on the Ministry of Interior's official lists of fire safety professionals (ex-L. 818?84).
