The role contributes to maintaining strong financial controls, supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. /p h3Job Description /h3 pWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing general accounting activities, supporting financial closings, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage general accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations and adjusting entries. /li liSupport month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with reporting deadlines. /li liPerform intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies where necessary. /li liMaintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of accounting records. /li liSupport the preparation of documentation required for internal and external audits. /li liAssist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax compliance activities. /li liCollaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate accounting treatment of business transactions. /li liIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting and internal controls. /li liEnsure compliance with accounting principles, company policies and audit requirements. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
